The Oklahoma-Texas Meat Processors Association (OTMPA) is comprised of small to medium-sized food processing companies based in Oklahoma, Texas and surrounding states.  Although relatively small in size, these companies are progressive and willing to adopt new techniques that aid in the production of meat products.  We are a charter member of the American Association of Meat Processors.

The convention, held each year in June, devotes much of its time to educational activities that directly affect processors.  There is also time set aside for family activities, fellowship and the latest news pertaining to the meat industry.  Many techniques and interesting facts can be learned outside of the classroom.  You might even find someone who needs what you are producing.

Membership in the OTMPA gives strength to small processors.  As a group, these businesses can make their presence known to state lawmakers and be heard.  OTMPA membership means processors can be kept aware of what is happening in our industry.  If you would like to be a part of an organization that is progressive and stays in touch with things that help make their business profitable, consider joining the OTMPA.
